Vos logistics NV

Nature of work: : Provide a financial and commercial analyses service within the company.
Responsibilities: As Managing Finance Director I am responsible for the whole finance (strategic and Operational) within the company. I manage the division controllers across Europe who are responsible for the financial reporting in their division. Direct report line to the CEO. Direct contact wit the external banks, accountants, suppliers, customers, lawyers, etc Responsible for the financial process and organisational reorganisation during the de-investment process.

- Review P&L and Balance sheets with my division controllers
- Prepare and sign the Statutory accounts
- Manage the preparation of the annual budget
- Develop alternative business performance indicators
- Support division directors in the preparation of investment appraisals
- Support general managers in the preparation of customer contracts
- Member of the senior management team
- Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place and procedures and policies are understood and implemented.
- Identify and manage financial and commercial risks
- Arrange audits of Logistics business units.
- Working closely together with the CEO and COO regarding strategy.
- Manage the division controllers
- Leaded the global Logistics Financial process regarding the de-investment and reorganization

P&O Nedlloyd/ Maersk

Nature of Work: Provide a financial and commercial analyses service to the Logistics Division in Europe.
Responsibilities: As European Finance manager Logistics in Maersk I was responsible for the whole finance (strategic and Operational) within Europe. I managed 7 Controllers across Europe who are responsible for the financial reporting in their area. Direct report line to the CEO Europe. When Maersk merged P&O Nedlloyd I was made responsible for the worldwide logistics finance with the task to manage the financial integration with Maersk.

- Support general managers in the preparation of investment appraisals
- Support general managers in the preparation of customer contracts

- Arrange audits of Logistics business units.
- Working closely together with the Logistics Director regarding strategy.
- Manage the BMA Logistics Accountants
- Leaded the global Logistics Finance Integration from the P&O Nedlloyd side
