I do not only provide them with advice, I also guide them during meetings with financial partners like banks. I'm forming the extra aid what is needed on financial matters, where the business owners do not have the time or do not understand the request like debit- and credit control. Current assignment is for the German company called "BAUER SOLARENERGIE". For them I am setting up their business expenditure to Belgium. Function Revenue Manager Organization DHL Global Management Period 2008 Specification As member of the Revenue Management Team for DHL Exel Supply Chain, we investigate the billing process of the investigated country. Revenue Management is a global program within the DHL Logistics organisation. The main goal of this program is to optimise the country's total turnover, by checking whether they invoice correctly, in a timely manner and that they invoice everything they are allowed to. To check what the DSO and DBO results are and what costs are involved. Within the team I was specially assigned to take on the data analyses from the operating systems within the countries. This is a very difficult and time consuming task; there every country or region has its own systems (in most of the countries even more than 5 different systems are used). The main goal for this system investigation is to check if all the data reported to DPWN is correct and that there is a match between incoming costs and revenue. My last project was to start the set up of a European Project Organisation within DHL on Pricing and Revenue. Function Project Manager Organization DHL Exel Supply Chain (Financial Service Centre Benelux) Period February 2007 - April 2008 Specification Responsibility for all internal projects of the Financial Service Centre (FSC) of DHL Exel Supply Chain (DESC) in the Benelux. The assigned projects need to be managed from the first initiative until the transfer to the departments involved and employees. Some of the executed projects are: Implementation of the ING Bank as primary bank, design and publication of all existing and desired processes within the FSC, implementation of MasterCard as preferred supplier of credit cards for DESC management, development of the Expenses Policy within DESC. When I implemented the ING as the primary bank for DHL, I was also involved in the implementation of the ING worldwide and the implemtation of the cash pool and inhousebanking system within DHL Europe. During this project, which ran about a year, I was the key responsible for all banking issues/contacts. I took the initiative to setup a communication structure between all project managers employed within DESC Benelux cross all different functionalities (Business, HR, Finance, etc.). In this meetings "best practices" can be shared and creating the possibility to use each others qualities and expertises.
